The Zig-Zag Air Separators of the Stokkermill ZZ series arise from the need to remove the light part of heterogeneous materials through a flow of air in countercurrent, inside a zig-zag duct. They are generally installed after a crushing or grinding process to improve the quality of the output product. They are particularly suitable for the cleaning of crushing residues (ASR, car fluff, Zurik, Zorba), for the separation of the heavy copper and aluminum fraction in the recycling processes of the cables and in all the activities that require the separation of light parts. The Zig-Zag Air Separators of the Stokkermill ZZ series are installed, on request, on the Turboflex series granulators and they are integrated in the granulators of the Multi-flex Turbo Zig-Zag series.
