The recycling lines for copper cables are designed to facilitate the recycling of large quantities of copper or aluminium cables. The copper cable recycling and aluminium cable recycling line consists of a pre-shredder, usually from the PS or CSR series depending on the required capacity and the type of material, a conveyor belt with magnet and a granulator of the K or M series. The pre-shredder performs a primary reduction of the material that is given to the granulator for the final reduction and separation between the metal fraction and the insulating part in PVC or different insulation material. The recycling lines for copper cables can be equipped with additional machines, that will increase the overall efficiency according to the characteristics of the material to be treated and the capacity required by the user. The most advanced recycling lines with a capacity exceeding 500 kg/h are equipped with intermediate storage systems, turbo refiner, Zig-zag separation systems and final refining sieves.

Stokkermill recycling lines have input capacities ranging from 200 to over 2,500 kg/h. Electrical cable recycling systems can be supplied with an additional densiometric table capable of separating copper from aluminium. The industrial cable recycling plant realized by Stokkermill allows to work:

- Cables of any diameter and size without the need for manual separation.
- Extremely thin cables, coming from the demolition and recycling of WEEE or telecommunications systems, thanks to the presence of the turbo refiner.
Stokkermill realizes some innovative systems able to improve the quality of the output flows reaching high quality standards:
