From 6 to 8 October 2026, Stokkermill will be attending POLECO 2026, the international trade fair dedicated to environmental technologies, recycling and waste management, taking place in Poznań, Poland.
Our participation represents an important opportunity to meet operators, recycling companies and industry professionals from Poland and Central Europe and to present Stokkermill solutions for the processing and recovery of different material streams.
The main areas of application will include copper cable recycling, metal recovery, the processing of waste electrical and electronic equipment and the growing field of solar and photovoltaic panel recycling.
1. Stokkermill at POLECO 2026
POLECO is a meeting point for companies, operators and professionals involved in waste management, material recovery and environmental technologies.
During the exhibition, Stokkermill will present its technologies for material processing, size reduction and separation, with applications dedicated to different types of industrial and technological waste.
2. Copper cable recycling and copper recovery
Electrical cable recycling is one of the fields in which Stokkermill technologies are applied. Copper cables mainly consist of metal conductors and insulating materials that must be separated to enable the recovery of the different fractions.
An effective cable recycling process makes it possible to obtain a copper fraction separated from plastics and insulating materials, supporting metal recovery and material valorisation.
Stokkermill solutions can be configured for applications including:
- copper cable recycling;
- copper recovery from electrical cables;
- electrical wire recycling;
- processing of cables and electrical materials;
- separation of copper from plastics.
3. From granulation to material separation
Cable processing may include different stages, depending on the type and characteristics of the material.
The process may include:
- size reduction;
- granulation;
- screening;
- material separation;
- recovery of metal fractions;
- separation and valorisation of plastic materials.
The plant configuration is defined according to the material to be processed, the required capacity and the desired degree of separation.
4. Solar and photovoltaic panel recycling
Solar and photovoltaic panel recycling is a growing sector and requires specific technologies to process the different components of the modules.
A photovoltaic panel consists of different materials that can be recovered through processing and separation operations, including glass, aluminium, silicon and plastics.
Photovoltaic panel recycling requires the correct management of the different module components and a separation process suited to the characteristics of the material.
5. Photovoltaic panel recycling: materials and separation
The main recoverable fractions include glass, aluminium, silicon and plastic materials.
Processing technologies can be integrated according to the characteristics of the panels, the dimensions of the incoming material and the recovery objectives.
The Stokkermill approach focuses on the design of modular and configurable solutions, with size reduction, screening and separation technologies dedicated to different applications.
6. Stokkermill recycling technologies
Stokkermill develops and supplies technologies for material size reduction and separation, including:
- shredders;
- granulators;
- hammer mills;
- vibrating screens;
- magnetic separators;
- eddy current separators;
- electrostatic separators;
- air separation systems;
- laboratory machines for material trials and testing.
7. Why meet Stokkermill at POLECO 2026
Participation in POLECO 2026 will provide an opportunity to discuss material processing requirements directly with the Stokkermill team and evaluate possible plant configurations.
During the meetings, it will be possible to discuss applications relating to cable recycling, metal recovery, the processing of waste electrical and electronic equipment and photovoltaic panel recycling.
8. Meet Stokkermill in Poznań
From 6 to 8 October 2026, Stokkermill will be at POLECO 2026 in Poznań, Poland.
The exhibition represents an opportunity to meet the Stokkermill team, discover the available technologies and discuss material recycling and recovery projects.
