Shredding toner and toner cartridges

Shredding toner and toner cartridges recycling plant and lines, used toners and E-waste are special waste and cannot be treated like MSW(municipal solid waste) and must be processed and recycled separately due to the presence of fine dust which represent potential health hazards. Waste toners are classed in R4 code of the waste classification and can be considered as waste electric and electronic equipment (WEEE). The aim of the recycling operations will be to recover the chemical and ink powder through a filtration system and to reduce the size of the cartridge into particles small enough to carry out the separation of the plastic, the metals present, and other inert materials.
