August 2025 Stokkermill: Successful completion of FAT of M100 series copper cable and radiator recycling plant for Japan

Stokkermill, a leading designer and manufacturer of metal recycling plants, recently successfully completed the final factory acceptance test (FAT) of its Multiple M100 plant for the Japanese market.

The test was carried out at the Stokkermill production facility in Udine, Italy, in cooperation with our longtime partner Tezuka Press, the official importer for Japan.

Stokkermill: High-Quality Cable and Metal Recycling Plants for International Markets

Stokkermill stands out in the design and manufacture of plants for the recycling of cables, radiators and other metal materials, thanks to a proven track record in the industry and an ongoing commitment to research and technological development. Each plant is designed to offer high performance, energy efficiency and a high quality of recovered material, meeting the stringent requirements of international markets, including Japan. The proposed solutions are ideal for optimizing recycling processes, ensuring superior results in terms of purity and material recovery.

Performance and Reliability for Advanced Recycling

The M100 model represents the latest evolution of a line of plants globally appreciated for their high treatment capacity and separation quality. Designed to recycle electrical cables, copper and aluminum radiators, and other conductive materials, the plant guarantees a throughput of 800-1000 kg/h, with excellent results in terms of output material purity.

Technical Checks During the FAT

The Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) included more than four days of in-depth technical checks, including:

- Checking mechanical tolerances on critical components

- Acoustic threshold detection during operation

- Measurement of vibration at sensitive points, particularly SKF bearing supports

- Testing on dry densimetric table for copper-plastic separation

- Testing on actual material provided by the customer company

- Compliance with Japanese and European safety regulations

These checks are critical to ensure durability, efficiency and quality of the separation process in a market known for its focus on precision.

Shipping and Final Destination

The plant will be shipped on August 10, 2025, with expected arrival in Tokyo by September 30, 2025. The final destination is the company's headquarters in Kamamoto, Kishu Province, where the M100 will be used primarily for recycling copper and aluminum radiators-a fast-growing sector in the industrial metals recovery landscape.

A Historic Presence in the Japanese Market

Stokkermill is one of the few Italian manufacturers with an established presence in Japan, thanks to a long experience in designing high-efficiency recycling plants. The success of this supply confirms the confidence that the Japanese market places in our technology and further strengthens Stokkermill's international leadership in cable and metal recycling.
