大手電子機器リサイクル・アルカリ電池リサイクル会社では、WEEEリサイクルプラントの設置と試運転が進んでいる。
リサイクルプラントは3つの独立したラインで構成されている：
- 使用済み電気・電子機器およびケーブルのリサイクルプラント
- 使用済みテレビ画面のネオンバックライトランプに含まれる蛍光ダストの吸引とHELPA集塵機を含むプラント
- 大型プラスチック部品の減容し、PVC-PEの粒度を小さくするためのプラント
このプラントの総出力は約300kWで、年間約1000トンの原料をリサイクルできる。特筆すべきは、排出される金属フラクションを分離できるVT-Mマルチ比重テーブルの存在である。9月に試運転が開始され、最終的な試運転の後、数週間でフル稼働する予定である。
このプラントは、処理時間を大幅に短縮し、金属の選別を比重、粒度、色によって分離できるようにする、多くの重要な技術革新が含まれている。
